ANKAFERD BLOOD STOPPER APPLICATIONS IN CONTROL OF BLEEDING DEVELOPED IN DENTAL PROCESSES

Each box contains one sterile, packaged, disposable Ankaferd Blood Stopper Absorbable Wet Tampon Set. Each Ankaferd Blood Stopper Absorbable Wet Tampon Set contains sterile, packaged, disposable, body absorbable Oxidized Regenerated Cellulose Pad and Ankaferd Solution injector.

Ankaferd Blood Stopper is ready to use and does not require special preperation before usage.

  • ABS solution is sprayed to the bleeding area after the surgical intervention via Ankaferd Solution injector. For an easy application, etching needle can be used with injector.  (Do not inject Ankaferd into blood vessel or tissue apply through spraying)
  • Keep applying Ankaferd until the bleeding stops. Creation of Ankaferd Blood Stopper protein network immediately starts. Based on the size of the bleeding it might take 1-2 minutes to stop the bleeding.
  • If needed Oxidized Regenerated Cellulose Tampon can be used to prevent post operative bleedings or to apply light pressure on the bleeding site.
